Regulatory disclosures & client policies.
Read this page before using CDS mutual-fund distribution, risk-profile, education, payment or IIFL broking-support features.
01 · Regulatory status
What CDS is—and is not.
Capital Discipline Studio, operated by Chirag G. Shah, is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor. ARN-362779 · EUIN E693796.
CDS is not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser, SEBI-registered Research Analyst or stock broker. Chirag Girishchandra Shah is registered as an Authorised Person affiliated to IIFL Capital Services Limited for the exchange segments listed below. An Authorised Person acts as an agent of the stock broker and is not independently a stock broker. Passing the NISM Series XV examination is an examination credential only and does not constitute SEBI Research Analyst registration.
CDS does not offer independent financial planning or investment-advisory services, charge an advisory fee, manage client funds, provide portfolio-management services, or assure returns.
02 · Mutual-fund distribution
Regular Plans and commission disclosure.
Mutual-fund transactions facilitated through CDS are Regular Plan transactions under ARN-362779 and EUIN E693796. CDS may receive trail, upfront or other commissions permitted under applicable rules from mutual-fund houses. The rate may differ by AMC, scheme and period, creating a potential conflict of interest.
Commission information relevant to a proposed transaction will be disclosed as required and can be requested before transacting. Investors may instead choose a Direct Plan without a distributor, subject to making their own investment decisions. CDS does not charge a separate fee for independent financial advice.
Any scheme information or curated scheme list shared by CDS is incidental to its mutual-fund distribution activity and is not independent investment advice. The applicable Scheme Information Document, Key Information Memorandum, Riskometer, exit-load and tax disclosures govern. Mutual Fund investments are subject to market risks. Please read all scheme-related documents carefully.
03 · IIFL / Authorised Person disclosure
Exchange registrations affiliated to IIFL.
The IIFL buttons lead to systems operated by IIFL Capital Services Limited. IIFL, as the stock broker, controls account acceptance, KYC, brokerage, order execution, custody, client funds, contract notes, platform terms and the broker-level grievance process.
These particulars are taken from the NSE, BSE and MCX documents supplied to CDS and reviewed on 26 July 2026. Exchange registrations remain valid only until suspended or cancelled and are subject to continuing compliance. Current status should be confirmed from the relevant exchange or IIFL before relying on it.
CDS is not an exchange member or stock broker and does not offer discretionary trading, portfolio management, guaranteed returns or unauthorised order placement. CDS does not collect client trading funds, passwords, Aadhaar or banking credentials on this website. The optional portfolio-import flow may transmit PAN and a one-time data-access OTP to an authorised portfolio-data provider after explicit consent; CDS does not retain the PAN or OTP.
04 · Education disclaimer
Learning, not securities advice.
CDS courses, videos, journals, posters, examples and classroom discussions are for general education only. They are not investment advice, a research report, a recommendation to buy, sell or hold a security, a trading signal, tip, model portfolio, personalised recommendation, portfolio-management service or assurance of profit.
Illustrations may use historical or hypothetical data. Past performance does not indicate future results. Students remain responsible for their own decisions and should obtain advice from an appropriately registered professional when required.
05 · Risk profile
A preliminary screening tool.
The website result is a preliminary, rules-based category derived from answers submitted by the visitor. It does not automatically select a product and does not replace KYC, suitability review, scheme documents or professional advice from an appropriately registered adviser. Incorrect or incomplete answers may materially affect the result.
06 · Portfolio-analysis tool
Automated evidence, with clear limits.
The CDS Portfolio Health Check generates a preliminary rules-based report only after the visitor provides mutual-fund holdings—either through a consented PAN and provider-OTP import or by manual entry—then enters their name, Indian mobile number, email address, goal, horizon and risk category, accepts the stated processing, and successfully verifies the report-access mobile number by OTP.
Where an approved data source supplies sufficient information, scheme scores may use 1-, 3- and 5-year relative performance, peer position, risk-adjusted measures, expense ratio, fund-manager tenure and reported risk level. Portfolio checks may also consider scheme weight, category duplication, AMC concentration and alignment with the selected risk category and horizon. The report identifies its data source and as-of date. An unmatched or incomplete record is marked for data review rather than being given a fabricated rating.
“Keep,” “Monitor,” and “Review for replacement” are discussion flags—not instructions to transact. A replacement-review flag requires sustained weakness over suitable periods and is not triggered by one weak quarter alone. The tool does not automatically name a replacement scheme or execute a purchase, switch or redemption. Any proposed action requires a current suitability review, scheme documents, Riskometer, commission disclosure, tax and exit-load considerations and the investor’s current circumstances.
CDS provides scheme-related suggestions only as incidental to its primary mutual-fund distribution activity. Mutual-fund transactions facilitated through CDS are Regular Plan transactions and may result in commission to CDS. The report is not an independent advisory report, research report, portfolio-management service or assurance of return.
07 · Privacy notice
How client information is handled.
CDS may collect contact details, risk-profile answers, portfolio holdings and values, portfolio-report results, OTP-verification audit records, enquiries, course-payment identifiers, enrolment status, lesson progress and—only after consent—first-party website analytics. Data is used to deliver the requested service, maintain required records, administer courses, respond to grievances, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
The optional automatic-import form requests PAN and the registered mobile number only after a licensed or otherwise authorised portfolio-data connection is active. PAN is relayed for that single consented request and is not stored by CDS; CDS retains only a keyed one-way hash for short-term abuse prevention. The provider’s data-access OTP is relayed for verification and is not retained. Date of birth is not used as a substitute for consent or OTP. Manual entry never requests PAN, Aadhaar, folio numbers, bank details, passwords, signatures or AMC/RTA transaction OTPs.
Mobile numbers are shared with the configured portfolio-data and OTP delivery providers only for the requested import and report-access verification. Imported holdings are used to prepare the report. Approved fund-performance data is obtained separately under the applicable provider terms.
Information is shared only where necessary with service providers or regulated entities selected for the requested service, such as Razorpay for payments, relevant AMCs/RTAs for mutual-fund transactions, or IIFL when the visitor independently uses its link. Their own privacy notices apply. CDS does not sell personal data.
Operational retention targets are: enquiries, generated portfolio reports and consent records up to 24 months unless a longer record is required for an active client relationship or applicable regulation; short-lived OTP-verification records only as needed for security and abuse prevention; optional analytics up to 24 months; learner progress for the access period plus up to 12 months; and payment, transaction or regulatory records for the period required by applicable law, ordinarily up to eight financial years where relevant. Data may be retained longer for an active dispute or legal obligation.
Visitors may request access, correction, consent withdrawal or deletion where legally permitted by emailing chiragthesailor@gmail.com. Withdrawing optional analytics does not affect essential services. Enter PAN and the data-access OTP only inside the labelled secure import form when its authorised-provider status is active. Never send PAN, Aadhaar, signatures, folio numbers, client codes, passwords or OTPs through email, public forms or unsecured WhatsApp messages.
08 · Course terms
Enrolment and six-month access.
All displayed course prices are treated as inclusive of applicable taxes, if any. Course fees are inclusive of applicable taxes, if any. GST will be charged as per prevailing law. CDS may update its invoicing and tax treatment when registration or other legal requirements apply, without increasing an already completed payment retrospectively except where required by law.
The tiered website offer applies automatically to course bookings completed through this website: 30% off the first 10 verified enrolments, followed by 25% off the next 10 verified enrolments. For the Foundation + Core + Advanced bundle, the active website tier is first applied to the standard ₹15,999 bundle price and a further 15% bundle discount is then applied sequentially. This results in ₹9,519 during the 30% tier and ₹10,199 during the 25% tier. After the first 20 tiered enrolments are filled, the additional 15% bundle discount remains available at ₹13,599. No coupon is required. Offers do not apply to offline/manual payments or combine with other discounts. Final amounts are rounded to the nearest rupee and availability is checked when the secure payment order is created.
Recurring live online classes run between Monday and Saturday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The current priority timetable is Technical Analysis — Core on Monday and Thursday, Options Strategies Masterclass on Tuesday and Friday, and Advanced Technical Analysis on Wednesday and Saturday. Other online courses run in separate demand-based rotations. Offline sessions remain on Saturday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Sunday is the weekly break. CDS confirms the applicable batch before enrolment and may make reasonable timetable changes with notice.
Course enrolment is personal, non-transferable and for lawful educational use. Access is manually approved after payment verification and remains available for six months from approval unless a different written term is agreed. Students must not share credentials, copy or redistribute protected videos, or use the material to offer unregistered advice, tips or signals.
Schedules, faculty availability and lesson order may change with reasonable notice. CDS may suspend access for payment reversal, credential sharing, piracy, abuse or unlawful use, after a reasonable review. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded.
09 · Refund policy
Clear rules before payment.
A full refund may be requested within seven calendar days of payment if portal access has not been activated and no live or recorded lesson has been accessed. Duplicate payments, a course cancelled by CDS, or an activation failure that CDS cannot remedy are eligible for refund. After content or a live lesson is accessed, requests are reviewed case by case, subject to applicable law.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment source, normally within 7–10 business days after approval; banking timelines may vary. Send the registered name, email, course and Razorpay payment ID to chiragthesailor@gmail.com. Never send a card number, UPI PIN, password or OTP.
10 · Grievance redressal
How to raise and escalate a complaint.
Grievance Officer: Chirag G. Shah
Capital Discipline Studio, 203, Radha Soami Samipya, Mota Bazaar, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat
chiragthesailor@gmail.com · +91 79909 89764
Include your name, contact details, service, relevant date and a concise description—without passwords or OTPs. CDS aims to acknowledge complaints within two business days and resolve them within 15 business days, subject to obtaining necessary information.
For mutual-fund matters, unresolved complaints may be escalated to the concerned AMC/RTA and then to SEBI SCORES or SMART ODR, as applicable. IIFL account, AP-service or trading complaints should first be raised with IIFL through its official grievance process, followed by the relevant exchange, SEBI SCORES or SMART ODR as applicable.
